About

We perceive sensor networks as a foundation for Internet of Things (IoT). Our focus is on IoT-based measurement, meaning IoT systems that generate data in urban and rural environments. This can be various. Our focus is on how to make good software that is needed to enable these IoT-based measurement systems.

The focus in IoT-based measurement is on:

  • Usability – To develop applicable IoTsystem, that will easily be used by non-technical persons.
  • Interoperability – To extend existing IoTsystems easily with new sensor to conduct new measurement
  • Robustness – To have performant systems that can process many data, but that are also stable and process reliable measurements, as well as work with low power.
  • Security – To have IoTsystems that are secure.
