A measurement system for an air scrubber in pig farming is being developed. The prototype should demonstrate that it is possible to process data from multiple, various, sensor nodes and make them available to various stakeholders of a pig farm. These stakeholders are various, like the farmers themselves, as well as the inspection service and local residents of a pig farm. This requires measurements at various points during the pollution and washing of the air. The measurement is done to ultimately determine the operation of the air scrubber with regard to ammonia and particulate matter reduction.
The prototype is being developed with various networks in order to get the data from the various sensors measured and transmitted. Experiments have been carried out with this network in the current project. Where possible, standard sensors are used. But adjustments regarding ammonia and particulate matter must already be made.
